𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘩 𝘮𝘺, 𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘮𝘦 𝘢 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧.

I always knew I was foremost an artist- but it is Identi3, a fabulous Personal Profiling tool I also use with clients - that helps me understand my character and those of my clients more fully.

One of the aspects that comes with the tool is an apt description of one’s type. I’m 100% artist which is only 7% of the population. 𝘈𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦, 𝘧𝘭𝘦𝘹𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘦𝘯𝘫𝘰𝘺 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘶𝘯𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘯.

𝐇𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 Writing.

Artists don't like structure, conformity and especially rules. This might annoy the people around us, especially those who are trying to hire us.

I’m also 100% an Expositor which means I’m expressive and persuasive. I’m good at presenting and teaching, 𝘩𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘺 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨.

I’m 75% networker: I'm outgoing, approachable and friendly. I can be everyone’s good friend. This is only partially true, hence I score 75% and not 100%, which makes the test results very accurate in my view.

Over the years I’ve learned that when my intuition tells me someone isn’t the right fit, I can say no even when they enjoy my company and want to be my friend. People generally want to be in my company as I’m positive and encouraging, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴, 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘬 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘦.

I’ve been trained over the last 1,5 years to use Identi3 to support others to understand their character traits. One of the awesome aspects that comes with the tool is an apt description of one’s type.

No, it’s not to put someone in a box, as an artist I would not use the tool if it tried to do this.
